Vinod Khosla is a Delhi, India-born Indian/American businessman who is best known for being the co-founder of technology related company “Sun Microsystems”, which is noted for creating Java programming language. Born on 28 January, 1955, Vinod has recently been active as a partner in “Khosla Ventures”. Over the time in his career, Vinod has made himself a noted Silicon Valley investor.

Eventually, he joined Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, a venture capital firm, as a general partner, and subsequently made remarkably successful investments. As India-born, Vinod has also made some significant investments in his birth country, including in the microfinance company SKS Microfinance, which focuses on helping Indian rural people with small loans.
After earning millions from all of the above mentioned ventures, in 2004 Vinod formed Khosla Ventures, a venture capital firm. The firm invests mostly in IT start-ups, and is managed by Khosla and his family. At the time, Khosla Ventures, based in California, manages billions of dollars in different investments and this company has also been keeping Vinod active as an investor.
As for his personal life, Vinod Khosla is married to Neeru Khosla and the couple is parents to four children. The family follows Hinduism and has been residing in California.
