Trace Adkins Wiki Biography

Tracy Darrell Adkins, known as Trace Adkins, is a famous American actor and country music artist who has estimated net worth of $16 million. During his career Adkins has released eight studio albums and two compilations of Greatest Hits. His distinctive, deep soul-stirring voice and moving lyrics has made him well-known around the world and ensured an opportunity to increase Adkins net worth with every new album. He has earned the reputation of a musician who likes to mix different styles such as rock & roll, blues, elements of gospel and classic honky tonk.

Tracy D. Adkins was born on January 13, 1962, in Sarepta, Webster Parish, north Louisiana. Since his early years he was interested in different kinds of music. This was noted by his father, Aaron Doyle Adkins, who taught his son to play the guitar. In school Tracy played in a gospel music group New Commitments, and was also a member of the National Future Farmers of America organization. After graduation he attended Louisiana Tech University, but after several years Adkins decided to drop his studies and start working on an oil rig. At that time during work he lost his pinky finger in an accident, but asked physicians to reattach it so he could play the guitar. After a several years Adkins decided to continue his musical career, and returned to the New Commitments expecting to increase his net worth.

The first serious investment in Trace Adkins net worth was in THE early 90’s, when he decided to pursue a solo career. He started to play in bars and clubs as often as he could, and soon earned a good reputation. After the first success Adkins decided to go further and moved to Nashville where he tried himself in the industry by being signed to Capitol by Scott Hendricks. This was an advantageous move – Hendricks had produced well-known musicians and bands before, such as Brooks & Dunn, Alan Jackson and Faith Hill.

Trace’s debut album called “Dreamin’ Out Loud” made him a rising star. The single “(This Ain’t) No Thinkin’ Thing” even became number one. However, later he left Capitol and started to work with Toby Keith’s Show Dog-Universal Music record label which was specializing in country music artists. Later he released many more songs which became hits, but the biggest success was the album entitled “Songs About Me” – his highest selling album which was certified 2x Multi-Platinum, which was one of the biggest investments in Adkins net worth.

As an actor Trace Adkins has appeared in many movies and TV shows. His most notable role was Eddie Vogel from “The Lincoln Lawyer”, but he has also played himself many times in different TV show episodes. Today Trace Adkins continues increasing his net worth and he is a life-member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans and NRA. He has five daughters from 2 wives: Tarah, Sarah, MacKenzie, Trinity and Brianna.
