Robert Rechsteiner was born on 9 March 1961, in Bay City, Michigan, USA, and is a real estate broker, and semi-retired professional wrestler, best known under his ring name Rick Steiner – he wrestled as part of World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and World Wrestling Federation (WWF). All of his efforts have helped put his net worth to where it is today.

He then partnered with his brother Scott Steiner to become a tag team and win the World Tag Team Championship the following year. They then moved to WCW and won multiple championships, occasionally making trips into New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW). In 1992, the brothers joined WWF and found success there, winning the WWF World Tag Team Championship too, but then left after two years in the company.

In 1995, Rick and his brother joined Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) for a year, before returning to WCW, where they won the World Tag Team Championship in 1996, and after losing to the Harlem Heat, would reclaim it the following year. They then went on a winning streak, and Scott would then turn on Rick, becoming a villainous character – he then took some time off due to a shoulder injury and surgery, but would feud with Scott during his return and would eventually win. He took a break for another few months to recover from an injury, and returned in 1999, when he turned villain and continued to wrestle for the promotion until 2001 when WCW was bought by WWF.

Steiner then joined TNA in 2002 and would make sporadic appearances for the company. He subsequently returned in 2007 to partner his brother again, and stayed for a year before he was removed from the company due to budget cuts. Since then, he’s continued to appear in the independent circuit, but has also started working in the real estate industry which would help increase his net worth.

For his personal life, it is known that Rick is married to Jayme McKenzie, and they have three children. He became a board member of the Cherokee County School District after running unopposed in 2006.
