John Randall Hennigan was born on 3 October 1979, in Los Angeles, California USA, and is a professional wrestler, and traceur, best known for currently wrestling as a part of Lucha Underground as Johnny Mundo. He also had a tenure with WWE under the ring names John Morrison and Johnny Nitro. All of his efforts have helped put his net worth to where it is today.

John attended the University of California, Davis, studying film and geology. After graduating, he then decided not to pursue either, and would go on to train for professional wrestling at the Supreme Pro Wrestling School. There he was placed in the Intercontinental Championship picture, and held the belt for four months before losing it to Jeff Hardy. He also had a feud with John Cena, before in 2007 being sent to the ECW brand.

He won the vacant ECW World Championship in a match against CM Punk, and then changed his name to “John Morrison” tweaking his gimmick to be more conceited. He eventually lost the championship to Punk, and would then compete against the Miz. They then became a tag team and would win the WWE Tag Team Championship in SmackDown! They had several successful title defenses before losing the titles to Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder, but John and Miz won the “Tag Team of the Year” Slammy Award in 2008, and would win the Raw World Tag Team Championship afterwards. They would lose the titles in WrestleMania XXV as part of the pre-show.

He then moved back to SmackDown and would earn a lot of popularity while his net worth continued to build. He would win his third Intercontinental Championship, and held the title for 103 days before losing to Drew McIntyre. He was drafted to Raw in 2010 and would participate in the main event of SummerSlam against The Nexus.
