Born on the 17th of October, 1981, Holly Holm is an American mixed martial artist and former boxer and kickboxer who became famous for being the first person to win championships in both boxing and mixed martial arts, and for inflicting on UFC Champion Ronda Rousey her first loss. However, most recently Holm lost her championship by knockout to Miesha Tate on 6 March 2016. This division of the UFC gets more interesting!

Holm grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico together with her three siblings. During one of her aerobics classes, her coach Mike Winkeljohn discovered her potential and began training her.
