Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, born the 15th of July 1987, is an American actor who gained fame in the Netflix musical series “The Get Down” as Clarence ‘Cadillac’ Cladwell.

Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Abdul-Mateen is the son of a Muslim father and a Christian mother, and has five other older brothers and sisters.
