Susan Blommaert Wiki Biography
Susan Blommaert was born on the 13th October 1947 in the USA, and is a stage, television and film actress, perhaps best known to the world as Missy Dandridge in the cult horror thriller film “Pet Sematary”, then as Judge Rebecca Steinman in the “Law & Order” series franchise, and also as Mr. Kaplan in the TV series “The Blacklist”, among many other differing accomplishments.
Have you ever wondered how rich Susan Blommaert is, as of early 2018? According to authoritative sources, it has been estimated that Blommaert’s wealth is as high as $1 million, an amount earned through her successful career in the world of entertainment, active since the late ‘80s.
Unfortunately, Susan has managed to keep a low profile when it comes to her early life and education, though her career has been put on a pedestal.
She made her debut with a minor role in the film “Forever, Lulu” in 1987, and just two years later was cast in one her most prominent roles, as Missy Dandridge in the horror classic “Pet Sematary”, starring Dale Midkiff, Denise Crosby and Fred Gwynne. Unfortunately, Susan couldn’t take benefits from the famous role, as she continued with B production films and minor TV roles, except for that of Judge Rebecca Steinman in the “Law & Order” series starting in 1991, and lasting until 2005. Back in 1998, she was also chosen for the role of Judge Rudy Fox in the TV series “The Practice” (1998-2003), and then in 2004 portrayed Gloria in the comedy-drama “King of the Corner”, starring Peter Riegert, Frank Wood and Jake Hoffman. She then featured in the highly acclaimed history thriller “United 93”, which eventually won over 25 awards, and was nominated for two Academy Awards, and then in 2008 played Mrs Carson in the mystery drama “Doubt”, starring Meryl Streep, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Amy Adams, and the film fared well at the box office, which helped increase Susan’s net worth by a large margin.
Her next notable role was in 2013, when she was chosen for the part of Mr. Kaplan/Kathryn Nemec in the highly acclaimed TV mystery crime-drama series “The Blacklist” (2013-2017), and featured in 27 episodes, which further increased her net worth. Also since 2013, Susan has made several other successful appearances, including the role of Vera Zweig in the biopic about Bernie Madoff entitled “Madoff” in 2016, and a minor appearance in the TV series “Bull” in 2017.
Regarding her personal life, Susan has managed to keep most of her intimate details, such as relationship status, hidden from the public eye, therefore, no reliable information is available in the media about this veteran actress, who has more than 30 years of experience on the acting scene.
