Sharif Atkins was born on 29 January 1975 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania USA, to David and Jacqueline, and is best known as a television actor who landed main roles in the series ‘’ER’’ and ‘’White Collars’’.

Although born in Pittsburgh, Sharif grew up in Chicago, Illinois, where he subsequently attended Northwestern University, and graduated in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree in theatre speech.
Prior to his career in the acting industry, Atkins worked as a stock boy for Victoria’s Secret in Chicago. He made his television debut with support roles in the series ‘’Early Edition’’ in 1998, then in 1999 he had his first movie role in ‘’Light it Up’’.
