Rob Gronkowski Wiki Biography

Born Robert Gronkowski on the 14th May 1989, in Amherst, New York State USA, he is a professional American Football tight end, who currently plays for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He has won two Super Bowls with the Patriots, and has a number of other achievements in his young but already quite successful NFL career.

Have you ever wondered how rich his career has made him? According to authoritative sources, The Gronk’s net worth is as high as $24 million, earned through his successful career, active since 2010.

The second born into a family of five brothers, he grew up in Williamsville, New York and went to Williamsville North High School for three years, before moving to a suburb of Pittsburgh, and attending Woodland Hills High School located in Churchill, where he played football and basketball, received several honors for his performances.

He enrolled at the University of Arizona and played football for the Wildcats team until 2009, scoring 16 touchdowns in 22 games.

Thanks to his successful college career, Rob earned positive critiques, and despite an injury and surgery in 2009, was chosen in the second round of the NFL Draft by the New England Patriots.

In his rookie season, Rob played in all 16 games, 11 of which were starts, and scored 10 touchdowns from 546 receiving yards. He won attention from people of the NFL Madden video game, which honored him by inventing a “Rob Gronkowski Award”, given to players scoring three or more touchdowns in a single game, as he did against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He continued to play extremely well in 2011 and 2012, scoring 17 and 11 receiving touchdowns respectively, with a career-high of 1,327 receiving yards in 2011. Thanks to his performances, the popular Gronk was named into the First-team All-Pro in both years, having been the NFL receiving touchdowns leader for the 2011 season.

In 2013, he had problems with an infection in his forearm, and played in seven games before being treated. He returned to the field in 2014, and immediately received the NFL Comeback Player of the Year award, and once again chosen for the First-team All-Pro, and recorded his third Pro Bowl appearance. That year, the Patriots reached Super Bowl and he was one of the main contributors in their win over the Seattle Seahawks, with a touchdown in the second quarter, and six caught passes for a total of 68 yards.

Since 2015 he has had more problems with injuries but managed to maintain his high form, which earned him a new contract with the Patriots, worth over $50 million, with $10 million salary per season, which in large part increased his net worth.

He won his second Super Bowl ring in 2016, when the Patriots defeated the Atlanta Falcons in the historical final with his team came back from a 25 point deficit in the third quarter of the match.

Aside from his NFL contracts, The Gronk’s net worth benefited also from his endorsement deals with a number of successful brands, including Zynga, Monster Energy, and Madden NFL.

When it comes to his personal life, The Gronk has been in an on-off relationship with Camille Kostek, begun in 2015. According to sources, the two are currently in romance.
