Rick Famuyiwa was born on the 18th June 1973 in Inglewood, California USA, of Nigerian -American origin, and is a film director, screenwriter and producer. Famuyiwa’s films are largely concerned with the ethnic diversity and the acceptance of oneself and others, especially within coloured communities.
