Piolo Pascual Wiki Biography

Piolo Pascual was born on 12 January 1977, in Malate, Manila, Philippines, and is an actor, musician, model, and producer, best known for his film work. He’s starred in and produced films which have won awards, but all of his efforts have helped put his net worth to where it is today.

How rich is Piolo Pascual? As of mid-2017, sources estimate a net worth that is at $7 million, mostly earned through a successful career in acting. He also had a successful music career, creating albums that reached high status. He has also worked on various television projects, and as he continues his career, it is expected that his wealth will also continue to increase.

Piolo’s father was casting director Philip Victoriano Pascual, who worked mainly on international films that are shot in the Philippines. At a young age, Piolo already had an ambition to become an actor, performer, or ramp model. He attended St. Francis School in Santa Ana, Manila and joined the school’s theatre group Teatro Ni Kiko. During high school, he started appearing in the teen variety show “That’s Entertainment”. He then left the show to study at the University of Santo Tomas (UST), where he studied General Education and then shifted to Physical Therapy.

However, his plans were put on hold due to his migration to the United States with his family. He lived in Los Angeles and worked as an ER representative until the age of 21, when he decided to return to Manila and pursue acting.

Pascual soon appeared in television shows such as “Mara Clara” and “Gimik”. Afterwards, he developed a love team with Judy Ann Santos, which became very popular until the early 2000s. Some of their projects included “Kahit Isang Saglit”, “Till There Was You”, and “Don’t Give UIp on Us” which would increase his net worth significantly. He then starred in “Milan” alongside Claudine Barretto, his top grossing film to that point, and in 2002 in “Dekada ‘70” which earned him eight awards. He was also awarded as the Best Supporting Actor by the GMMSF Box-Office Entertainment Awards.

The following year he ventured into music, creating his debut self-titled album, which went platinum. He followed this up with another platinum hit in “My Gift”. One of his latest music projects – “Timeless” – has hit triple platinum status. His net worth continued to rise.

Piolo is also a member of “Star Magic”, and in 2008 starred in the television series “Lobo” alongside Angel Locsin, which earned accolades from several international organizations. The following year, he was the producer of the independent film “Manila”, and would then star in the Filipino version of “Lovers in Paris” alongside KC Concepcion.

He subsequently created his own film studio Spring Films, and in 2013, Piolo returned to Cannes with the film “On the Job”.

For his personal life, it is known that Pascual has a son with his partner Donabelle Lazaro. In 2013, he joined the PETA campaign Free Mali which aim was to move the lone elephant Mali from the Manila Zoo. He is also a born-again Christian.
