Peter Andreas Thiel was born on 11 October 1967, in Frankfurt, (then) West Germany to German parents, and is a hedge fund manager, venture capitalist and entrepreneur, best known as a co-founder of PayPal. What is more, Peter is a co-founder of Palantir also, where he also works as the chairman. There are also many more activities and investments in which Thiel is involved.
