Mystikal Wiki Biography
Mystikal, real name Michael Lawrence Tyler, was born on 22 September, 1970 in New Orleans, Louisiana, the United States. Mystikal started his career in the music industry in 1994. the year his self-titled debut album was released, recorded and produced with the help of the record company Big Boy Records, located in New Orleans. Mystikal is quite a controversial personality, known almost as famously for his disagreements with other famous rappers such as Lil Wayne, as they were dissing each other on their songs.
So just how rich is Mystikal? Sources estimate that Mystikal’s net worth is currently $3 million, earned his rapping performances, but also from acting.
Unfortunately, Mystikal has had some tragic experience in his life. His sister Michelle Tyler died when young, and this influenced Mystikal a lot, including his lyrics. There are many songs written by Mystikal that focus on the topic of murder, including Shine, Murder 2, Murderer, and Dedicated to Michelle Tyler. Actually, this intimate expression of his feelings helped Mystikal to increase the total size of his net worth as the songs appeared to be very popular.
Mystikal boosted his net worth much more when he started collaborating with Lil Wayne, with whom he had been in scandalous disagreement some time before. Then when Mystikal signed a deal with Jive Records, the singer released an album entitled Mind of Mystikal, and the overall amount of his net worth rose again. However, the provocative rapper decided to start working with another label called No Limit Records. Subsequently, another album The Ghetto Fabulous was released in 1998 recorded by Mystikal, which appeared to be successful and to bring great revenues to the total size of Mystikal’s net worth. One year later, Mystikal stopped working with No Limit Records, and decided to start working on his own.
In 2000 Mystikal released another album named Let`s Get Ready, which also added to his net worth. It is certainly true that this album received such a great recognition that it even entered into the highest position of Billboard Hot 200. Another very popular song from this album is considered to be Shake Ya Ass – which became the soundtrack of many movies – and a song called Danger (Been So Long) featured Nivea, a new rapper. Mystikal’s latest albums include Tarantula and Original, released in 2001 and 2014 respectively.
A provocative detail in Mystikal`s biography is that he spent some time in prison. In 2004 it was announced that Mystical pleaded guilty to using force in order to make his hairstylist perform sex acts. After serving six years in jail, Mystikal was released in 2010. In 2012 Mystikal was arrested again over some domestic disputes, and spent another three months in jail.
