According to authoritative sources, it has been estimated that Michelle Branch’s net worth is as high as $15 million, an amount earned through her successful career in music. In addition to being an award-winning singer, Branch has also appeared in several TV series which improved her wealth.

Michelle Branch is a daughter of Peggy and David Branch and has a half-brother David and younger sister Nicole. Michelle started singing when she was two, and later went to the Northern Arizona University for voice lessons at the age of 8. She got her first guitar at the age of 14 and went to the Sedona Red Rock High School, but only for first two years, after which Branch continued to school at home. Her parents supported her all the way, helping Michelle to book gigs, and later financing her independent debut album “Broken Bracelet” in 2000.

However, she came out of anonymity in 1999, after posting two songs on the Rolling Stone website which secured her opening gigs for the Hanson band in 2000. The independent record label Twin Dragon Records released Branch’s debut album “Broken Bracelet”, a compilation of songs written when she was 14 and 15, then in 2001 Michelle signed a contract with Maverick Records, and John Shanks produced her first official studio album called “The Spirit Room”. The album was an immediate commercial success, peaking at No. 28 on the US Billboard 200 chart, and achieving a double platinum status with over two million copies sold in the US alone. The singles ”Everywhere”, “All You Wanted”, and “Goodbye to You” stayed in Hot charts for many weeks, and helped Michelle to become very popular and increased her net worth as well.

The song “Everywhere” won the 2002 MTV Video Music Awards Viewer’s Choice Award, and also in 2002, Branch’s collaboration with Carlos Santana on a song “The Name of Love” earned her a Grammy Award for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals. The following year, Michelle released her second album – “Hotel Paper’ – which achieved platinum status and reached the No. 2 position on the U.S. Billboard 200, and No. 35 on UK Albums Chart. The singles “Are You Happy Now” and “Breathe” find their way into the U.S. Billboard Top 40 Mainstream and U.S. Billboard Hot Dance Singles Sales charts, respectively, increasing further her overall net worth.

In 2005, Branch and her friend and backup vocalist Jessica Harp formed the duo called The Wreckers, and later released their album “Stand Still, Look Pretty” in 2006. The album was an instant hit, peaking at No. 1 on the UK Top Country Albums, No. 4 on US Billboard Top Country Albums, and No. 14 on US Billboard 200 charts, which also increased her net worth. The single “Leave the Pieces” topped the US Country chart, while “My, Oh My” and “Tennessee” were notable songs as well. The Wreckers disbanded in 2007, and Branch and Harp focused on solo careers instead.

In 2010, Michelle released her six-track EP called “Everything Comes and Goes” which reached No. 35 on the US Billboard Top Country Albums. Most recently, she HAS recorded several covers, and IS currently making her third studio album after signing a deal with Verve Records, a Universal Music Group company.

In addition to music, Branch has also appeared in TV series such as “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” (2001), “American Dreams” (2002), “Charmed” (2003), “One Tree Hill” (2005), and “Hell’s Kitchen” (2010), adding a substantial amount to her net worth.

Regarding her personal life, Michelle Branch married her bass player Teddy Landau in 2004, and in 2005, they had a daughter Owen. Branch and Landau separated in 2014 and divorced in 2015.
