Matt Passmore Wiki Biography

Matthew Passmore was born on the 24th December 1973, in Wynnum-Manly, Brisbane, Australia, and is an actor, best known to the world as Marcus Turner in the TV series “McLeod’s Daughters” (2006-2009), and as Jim Longworth in another TV series – “The Glades” (2010-2013) – among other appearances.

Have you ever wondered how rich Matt Passmore is, as of mid- 2017? According to authoritative sources, it has been estimated that Passmore’s net worth is as high as $5 million, an amount earned through his successful career as an actor, which started in the early 2000s.

Little is known about Matt’s life before the ‘90s when he enlisted into the Army. He spent several years in the force, and after discharge lived off odd jobs. His life changed when he enrolled at the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Sydney; he graduated in 2001 and then started pursuing his career as an actor.

In 2002 he made his debut appearance in the educational children’s show “Play School” as himself, and then in 2003 made his acting debut in the short film “Tuck and Cover” as Pete, and also the same year portrayed Pete ‘The Love Professor’ Jones in the TV comedy series “Always Greener”. Little by little, Matt started building his name in Australian productions, such as the TV series “Blue Heelers” (2003), in which he played Brad Fingleton, then as Jake in the TV series “The Cooks” (2004-2005), while in 2005 he portrayed Cameron Kennedy in the TV series “Last Man Standing”. In 2006 he made his breakthrough when he was selected for the role of Marcus Turner in the TV drama series “McLeod’s Daughters”, and through 2009 he appeared in 55 episodes of the show, which increased his net worth to a large degree. Then in 2010, he landed another long-term role, as Jim Longworth in the TV crime-drama series “The Glades” (2010-2013), further increasing his net worth.

Film roles eluded him for quite some time, but then in 2014, he played Josh in the mystery horror “Come Back to Me” (2014) and the same year was selected for the role of Neil Truman in the TV drama series “Satisfaction” (2014-2015). In recent years, he starred in the comedy film “Is That a Gun in Your Pocket” (2016), and appeared in the TV action drama series “Lethal Weapon”, adding steadily to his net worth.

Regarding his personal life, Matt was married to his high school sweetheart Jacqui from 1998 until 2006, when the two divorced. In 2016 he married Natalia Cigliuti, his co-star from “The Glades”.
