Marco Antonio Muñiz was born on 16 September 1968, in New York City, USA to Puerto Rican parents, and as Marc Anthony, is  known as an actor, singer, songwriter, as well as a record and television producer, perhaps best recognised for singing Latin salsa and ballads during a varied career begun in 1988.

Already a successful act in the Spanish-speaking community, Anthony then recorded a song with Jennifer Lopez that appeared on her album “On the 6”, and in 1999 released his first English-language self-titled album, that brought him even more national recognition, and added considerably to his net worth.
