After college, London wasn’t selected in the 1998 NFL Draft, but still received a contract offer by the St. Louis Rams. He managed to break into the first squad before opening day, and played in all 16 games in his rookie season, which earned him Rams Rookie of the Year Award. The following year his numbers improved as he made 138 tackles during the season, and was an integral part of the Rams defense that in a great way helped the whole team to secure the Super Bowl victory against the Tennessee Titans 23:16. This was London’s first and only Super Bowl ring in his career.
