Have you ever wondered how rich Laila Boonyasak is? According to sources, it has been estimated that Laila Boonyasak’s overall net worth is $20 million. For such impressive wealth, Laila can thank her popularity which she has gained by appearing in numerous films, mostly of Thai production. However, her success in the modeling industry has also increased her net worth.
Laila’s entrance to the entertainment industry happened when she was quite young. In 1995, at the age of 13, Boonyasak started appearing in Thai TV shows including “Buang Barp”, “Samee Tee Thra”, “Mee Wun Tay” among many others. She was cast in her first film role a year later, when she starred in “Goodbye Summer” (1996). Her next appearance in a movie was a lead role in “Satang” in 2000, and only three years later her career gained a boost when Laila was cast for four movies. The first one was the lead role in “O Lucky Man” and then came Pen Ek Ratanaruang’s trilingual movie “Last Life in the Universe” which turned out to be a big success and gained Laila great popularity, thus increasing her net worth. The other two films from 2003 are the Hong Kong horror film “The Park” and Thai comedy-horror film “Buppah Rahtree”, both with Boonyasak as the lead role.
Laila also had a guest appearance as herself in the crime comedy “Sai Lor Fah” (2004) and a year later starred in the sequel “Buppah Rahtree Phase 2: Rahtree Returns” (2005), again portraying the film’s lead role. However, her acting debut happened in 2007 when she won the role of Tang/June in the multi-layered family drama “The Love of Siam” which portrays a gay romance between two teenage boys. For her supporting role in this movie, she won the 2007 Thailand National Film Association Award. This led to Laila’s further professional acknowledgement and audience recognition, and also increased the actress’ net worth.
Boonyasak continued her acting career and starred in another Thai horror film “Phobia” (2008), following the sequel to “Buppah Rahtree Phase 2”, called “Rahtree Reborn” (2008). Her latest activity in the film industry includes the romantic drama movie “Eternity” (2010) and Thai’s entry for the 87th Academy Awards, “The Teacher’s Diary” (2014).
When it comes to her modeling career, Boonyasak has appeared in countless commercials as the face of “Rexona”, “Paris”, “Clear Shampoo” and “Chevrolet Cruzer” among many others.
