Katherine Lee was born on 14 September 1981, in Huntington, West Virginia USA, and is a novelist, chef, food critic and cookbook author, but best known from his appearances in numerous food-related television shows and specials. For her personal life, it is known that Katie married musician Billy Joel in 2004 after the two met at a rooftop bar at New York City – they were together for six years until divorcing in 2010. She also serves as part of the Feeding America Entertainment Council and is a former member of the council of Chefs for Humanity.
