He is an actor perhaps best known for his appearances in the TV series “Ed”, and films such as “Jeepers Creepers”, “He’s Just Not That Into You”, and Dreamland” during career in the film industry which began in 1999.
So just how rich is Justin Long? Sources have estimated that Justin has a $15 million net worth, accumulated through acting in films and endorsements through commercials, as well as being a voice actor.
Justin Long was raised in a Catholic family; it can be said that acting is in his genes because his mother Wendy Lesniak, was a Broadway actress, Long attended Vassar College, where he joined a comedy group, and acted in a few plays. Later he started working at the Sacred Heart University, where he gave acting lessons for children, so it could be said that Justin has been involved in acting all his life.
Justin Long then tried his luck in the film industry and he succeeded. He first appeared on the silver screen acting in the movie “Galaxy Quest” in 1999. Then followed over 70 episodes in the television series “Ed” over a period of more than four years. Since then Long has starred in a number of well-known movies. including playing the leading role in the horror film “Jeepers Creepers”. Justin Long appeared in the 2004 film “DodgeBall: A True Underdog Story”, featuring Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn. In the 2010 movie “Going the Distance” Justin played the leading role alongside Drew Barrymore. He also appeared in the film “He’s Just Not That into You” with Jennifer Aniston and Jennifer Connelly. Moreover, Justin Long had a role in the action film “Live Free or Die Hard”, in which he appeared beside Bruce Willis. Long also played small parts in the movies “Zack” and Miri Make a Porno”, and “Crossroads” with Britney Spears playing the leading role. These performances undeniably increased Justin Long’s net worth, making him a wealthy celebrity. Overall, Justin has been involved in an impressive 60 films and around 15 TV productions in his relatively short career, certainly confirming his popularity with both audiences and directors.
Besides being a film actor, Justin Long also works as a voice actor. For example, in three “Chipmunks” movies, Long voiced the character of Alvin. In the cartoon Alpha and Omega, Justin voiced one of the main characters Humphrey, and it comedy-horror cartoon Hair High, he voiced Dwayne. Moreover, Justin read two audio books: Then Again, Maybe I Won’t by Judy Blume, and Everything’s Eventual by Stephen King. Finally, his face can be seen in various commercials advertising Apple computers, in which Long plays the role of Mac. All these involvements have added consistently to the total amount of Justin Long’s net worth.

Justin Long Quotes
- [interview with Dorri Olds, October 2013] My little brother (Christian Long ) and I have always had a very similar sense of humor and sensibility. We have different strengths; he’s good at focusing on the story. He’s much smarter and good with structure. He’s funnier, too. I don’t know, I guess he’s just better in general. I tend to write too much and look for too many jokes. He’s good at centering me and I enjoy writing with him.
- (2010) I love doing voiceover work. I started doing voiceover work when I had just dropped out of school, and the first few professional jobs I got were plays, but then I started making money doing voice-overs. This was in the late ’90s, so a big voice I could do was that slacker guy. You know, “Do the Dew, man! Mountain Dew!” That really exaggerated stoner/skateboard guy… I did a bunch with that. “Hey, what’s up, bro!” After that, I did voice-overs here and there, and then Mike Judge asked me to do some characters on King of the Hill (1997). I loved the opportunity to just transform my voice. I loved the idea of doing impressions and mimicking and playing around with the spectrum of your own voice. That’s what I enjoy most about doing voice-overs. You can be completely unconscious with the rest of your body and just concentrate on doing something with your voice, creating an entire character with your voice.
- [interview with Fred Topel, 6/28/07] I get the worst of both worlds. I look like a geeky hacker, but I don’t know anything about computers.
- [interview with Complex magazine, August 2006] I have such thin skin, so I make a concerted effort to avoid reading anything about myself.
- [ talking about his role in the TV series Ed (2000)] Warren Cheswick is sort of the extreme of how I felt in high school. He’s awkward, but instead of accepting it, he tries to counter it, which makes him look even worse.
