Justin Foley was born on 16 June 1976, in Simsbury, Connecticut USA, and is a musician, best known for being the drummer of the metalcore band, Killswitch Engage. He was also a former member of the band Blood Has Been Shed in which he played alongside lead singer Howard Jones. He’s been active in the industry since 1993, and all of his efforts have helped put his net worth to where it is today.

He went on to study percussion at the University of Connecticut, and the band ended in 2002 when the members showed a lack of interest in continuing. After graduating, Justin attended the Hart School of Music to complete a master’s degree in percussion.

In 2003 Foley went on to join Killswitch Engage; the metalcore band became famous shortly after when they released the album “The End of Hearthache”, which became certified gold and peaked in 21st spot on the Billboard 200, with the title track being nominated for a Grammy Award in 2005. Since then, Foley and the band have performed at various festivals, such as the Soundwave Festival, Wacken Open Air, Pointfest, Knotfest, and Heavy MTL. They continued on to release another album entitled “As Daylight Dies” which reached the 32nd spot on the Billboard 200 chart.

Their songs became featured on WWE, and as a part of several video games, including “Burnout Paradise”, “Sleeping Dogs” and “Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock”. The band went on to release several more albums over the course of the following years, including a second self-titled album, “Disarm the Descent” and “Incarnate”. Killswitch Engage is known to be one of the more notable figures within the New Wave of American Heavy Metal.

As a part of Killswitch Engage, Justin became one of the numerous advertising artists for Evan Drumheads, along with other popular drummers promoting the product, including Daniel Erlandsson, Morgan Rose and Vinnie Paul. In 2011, he also played for Unearth in their album entitled “Darkness in the Light”, filling-in for their departed drummer Derek Kerswill.

For his personal life, not much is known about Foley’s romantic relationships. He mentioned that if he didn’t play drums, he would try a career in professional baseball. He is also a Simpsons fan, and …. he owns two cats.
