Jordana Brewster was born on 26 April 1980, in Panama City, Panama, of Brazilian and American ancestry. Jordana is an actress best known for her role as Mia Torreto in the “Fast and Furious” film franchise. She’s also been in other films like “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning” which earned her two Teen Choice nominations. Her various exploits as an actress have helped put her net worth to where it is currently.

How rich is Jordana Brewster? As of early-2016, sources inform us of a net worth that is at $8 million, mostly acquired through her successful career in acting. She’s been on screen since the mid-1990s and continues her work in both television and film today.

Jordana found herself travelling at a young age, moving from Panama to London, Brazil and then she eventually settled in Manhattan, New York City. She studied at the Convent of the Sacred Heart and eventually the Professional Children’s School. Later in her career, she went to Yale University from where she graduated with a degree in English in 2003.

Brewster started her acting career in daytime soap operas, appearing first in “All My Children” and eventually gaining a recurring role in “As the World Turns”. For her role as Nikki Munson, she was nominated for “Outstanding Teen Performer” at the 1997 Soap Opera Digest Awards. Her first film would be the horror film “The Faculty” in which she plays a cheerleader and editor in chief of the school paper. In 2001, Jordana would get one of her biggest and most defining roles in “The Fast and the Furious”, cast alongside Vin Diesel and Paul Walker. After studying in Yale, she returned to be part of the films “D.E.B.S.”, “Nearing Grace”, and “Annapolis”. She was then cast late 2006 in the horror film “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning”. She appeared in four episodes of the hit NBC-show “Chuck”, appearing as Chuck’s ex-girlfriend. In the last few years, she would reprise her role as Mia Torreto for the films “Fast & Furious”, “Fast Five, “Fast & Furious 6” and “Furious 7”, all of which found commercial success. Around this time, she also appeared in the series “Dark Blue” and “Dallas”. Of course all these involvements helped her net worth to rise.

Jordana proved to be quite popular in written media and has featured in various publications, earning recognition as one of the hottest or sexiest women in the world. She appeared in Stuff Magazine’s “102 Sexiest Women in the World”. She also appeared in Maxim magazine on three separate lists in three separate years. With the release of “Fast & Furious”, the May 2009 edition of Maxim featured Jordana in black lingerie. She’s also been featured in online lists and did a photoshoot for GQ Mexico.

As for her personal life, Jordana has been married to producer Andrew Form since 2007, who she met on the set of “Texas Chainsaw Massacre”. They had a son in 2013. Brewster likes to keep her life mostly private and not much else is known aside from these details.

Jordana Brewster Quotes

  • On her engagement: “It wasn’t a total surprise, but it was very spontaneous. It’s going to be a pretty small destination wedding — next November.”

  • I feel like directing is an innate talent.
  • I just can’t imagine dating a 20-year-old boy.
  • I went to an all-girls school and then I started working when I was fifteen, so I’m not very socially apt when it comes to dating.
  • You’re at home, your parents are watching what you’re doing, your friends are probably a little narrow-minded, or it’s cliquey and kids are really mean to each other. So, as soon as you have that independence, you can just explore who you are.
  • “When I signed for As the World Turns (1956) [in 1996, a three-year stint beginning when she was 15], I had to promise my mom that it wouldn’t hurt my grades and my dad that I would go to college. Acting kept me out of trouble. I had to go to CBS at 7 a.m., so I didn’t have any time to fool around”.
