In 2001, she began working for the MTV show “Lyricist Lounge” which lasted for a year. Afterwards, she toured with the Wayans brothers, writing and performing with them as seen in some of their films. She also did regular stand-up comedy shows in Los Angeles, for which she is well known, involving a lot of impressions of female characters. Some of the impressions she does include Miley Cyrus, Khloe Kardashian, and Tina Fey. In 2007, she became a writer for “Chelsea Lately” and participated in numerous sketches of the show which would run for seven years, with Heather as the main story producer.
