Gilberto Santa Rosa was born on the 21st August 1962, in Santurce, San Juan, Puerto Rico and is a singer of salsa, nicknamed The Knight of the Salsa “El Caballero de la Salsa”. In addition to that genre, he plays romantic ballads too. Gilberto Santa Rosa has been honoured with a star on the Walk of Fame at Union City’s Celia Cruz Park. Rosa has been active in the entertainment industry since 1976.
