Born on 8 June 1951 as Gaynor Hopkins, in Skewen, Neath, Wales, she is a singer known under her stage name of Bonny Tyler, recognized for her husky voice, which could be heard in some of her most successful songs such as “Lost In France”, “More Than a Lover”, and “Total Eclipse of the Heart”. Her career has been active since the mid-1970s.
