Erik Per Sullivan is a Worcester, Massachusetts-born American actor, probably best known for his role as Dewey in the television series “Malcolm In The Middle”. Born on 12 July 1991, Erik’s mother was Swedish-born. Well-recognized as one of the more successful television actors, Erik was active in the field of entertainment as an actor between 1998 and 2010 and is now taking time away from the film industry.

One of the best known child actors on television, one may wonder how rich is Eric as of now? As of early 2016, Erik counts his net worth at the amount of $2 million. Needless to say, the main source of Erik’s wealth has been his involvement in the entertainment industry as an actor for more than a decade. His prominence on television as well as in Hollywood as an actor has been earning him millions of dollars over the years.

Raised in Worchester and Milford, Massachusetts, Erik studied piano and saxophone during his childhood. He also has a first degree black belt in taekwondo which speaks for his love towards sports. Erik was schooled at Mount Saint Charles Academy and Phillips Exeter Academy, after which he attended the University of Southern California between 2009 and 2010. While still attending school, Erik had started his career as an actor, appearing in the movie “Armageddon” in 1998. Later, he appeared in the role of Fuzzy in 1999 movie “The Cider House Rules”, a good start to his net worth.

Erik’s breakthrough role was that of Dewey Wilkerson in the television series “Malcolm In The Middle” which premiered in 2000 and aired for seven years. The show made him a popular television personality and also earned him a Young Star Award for Best Young Ensemble Cast in 2000. For the same role, he earned a Young Artist Award in 2003 and was nominated thrice in Teen Choice Awards. Needless to say, this not only helped Eric mature as an actor but also helped him earn millions of dollars over the years.

In addition to “Malcolm In The Middle”, Erik has performed in several other films and television shows. Some of the Hollywood movies that Erik has been a part of include “Joe Dirt”, “Wendigo”, “Unfaithful”, “Finding Nemo”, “Christmas With The Kranks” and most recently “Twelve” in 2012. Apart from Hollywood, he has also shown prominence on television by appearing in shows like “Meatball Finkelstein”, “Black of Life”, “The King Of Queens”, “Come On Over” among many more. Of course, the successes of these projects have also added significantly to Erik’s riches to make him a multi-millionaire as of now.

As for his personal life, this 24 year old actor is apparently still single, and keeps that part very private. Although he is one of the most popular actors on television, he has not been active in the film industry since 2012. For now, Erik is enjoying his life as a renowned actor while his present net worth of $2 million is catering to his daily life in every possible way.
