According to sources, it is estimated that Eric Bolling`s total net worth is $15 million, an amount earned through his successful TV career, however, Bolling is also known as a commodities trader, being one of the most successful members of the NYMEX company before his TV career began.

Bolling acquired his high school diploma from the “Loyota Academy”. He then enrolled in “Rollins College”, and graduated with a BA degree in economics in 1984, furthermore, he received a fellowship to Duke University’s School of Public Policy.

After graduation, Bolling tried himself as a baseball player, and was selected in the 22nd round of the MLB 1984 draft, by the “Pittsburgh Pirates”; however, he was transferred to their lower league club. Unfortunately, his career as a baseball player ended before it began, due to a torn rotator calf injury he suffered.

Thanks to his degree in economics, he was able to get a job with the New York Mercantile Exchange. Soon he specialized in the trading segment of crude oil, gold and agricultural commodities. During his career as a trader, his net worth rose tremendously, as he was working with great success. Eventually, he became a strategic advisor, after being on the Board of Directors for five years. His career also includes numerous prestigious awards and achievements; he was named the top 100 trader by the Trader Monthly in 2005 and 2006, and he received the “Maybach Man of the Year” Award in 2007.

These endeavors and achievements earned him a chance to work for the CBS network. Eventually, he had his own show on CBS entitled “Fast Money”, however, he left CBS for Fox News, as it gave him more freedom and exposure. Firstly, he started as a host of the business show “Happy Hour”, but as his experience grew, he became more involved in the program. In 2011 he started working as a co-host of the talk show “The Five”, along with colleagues Kimberly Guilfoyle, Greg Gutfeld, Dana Perino and Juan Williams. Furthermore, Bolling is a host of the Fox Business Channel news program “Cashin in”, succeeding Cheryl Casone in that position. This promotion has also benefited his net worth.

During his career as a TV commentator, Bolling has often been recognized for his controversial statements, one of which was about Barack Obama`s decision to invite Gabon`s President Ali Bongo Ondimba to White House, stating: “Guess Who`s coming to dinner? A Dictator.” Nevertheless, despite this statement and a few others, his career is quite successful, and it is without a doubt that it will become even greater.
