He has been an active member of the entertainment industry since 1987.
Have you ever wondered how rich Dylan Walsh is? According to sources, it has been estimated that Dylan Walsh`s overall net worth is $6 million, an amount he owes mostly to his acting talents, during a career now spanning almost 30 years.
Dylan`s parents met in Ethiopia while both were working for the US Foreign Service, therefore Dylan spent his early childhood in various countries, including Egypt, Pakistan and Indonesia. However, he and his family moved back to the USA when Dylan was 10 years old. Regarding his education, Dylan graduated with a Bachelors degree in English from the University of Virginia in 1986, following which Dylan moved to New York in order to pursue an acting career.
His professional career began in 1987, when he got a part in the CBS Schoolbreak Special “Soldier Boys”, alongside James Earl Jones. From that point on, his career has only gone upwards – so has his overall net worth. The same year, he earned a role in the popular TV series “Kate And Allie”, staying with the show until 1989.
He made his film debut in the Joan Micklin Silver`s film “Loverboy”, released in 1989. In 1991, Dylan appeared in another popular TV series “Gabriel`s Fire”, starring in all 22 episodes of the show, and further increasing his net worth. He continued to feature in TV series and films throughout the 1990s, such as “Nobody`s Fool” (1994), “Men” (1997), and “Brooklyn South” (1997-1998) among many others. However, he secured a breakout role in 2003, when he was approached by Ryan Murphy, which led to Dylan`s most popular role so far, as Dr. Sean McNamara in the TV series “NipTuck” (2003-2010), which increased his net worth to a large degree.
Side by side with the shooting of “NipTuck”, he appeared in films such as “The Lake House” (2006) and “Just Add Water” (2008), as well as “Stepfather” (2009). After the “NipTuck” series ended, Dylan had become a highly sought actor, and ever since he has been able to acquire lead roles in high production value films and TV series, leading to significant increases in his net worth.
