Deborah managed to maintain a low profile about her early life and education. Nevertheless, her career has been put on a pedestal.

With the start of the new millennium, Deborah started to pursue other possibilities, including a career as a musician, and stage actress, which brought her worldwide fame. She was responsible for creating the role of Marcy Park on Broadway in William Finn’s Tony award-winning musical, “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” in 2004. She continued on with the stage appearances for the next two years, before she returned to screen appearances, with the role of Melanie in the TV series “Six Degrees” (2006-2007). After that, Deborah appeared in the fantasy drama “Ghost Town” in 2008, with Ricky Gervais and Greg Kinnear in the lead roles, but it wasn’t until 2011 that Deborah got her stardom. She was chosen for the role of Shelley Ng in the TV romantic drama “Hart of Dixie”, appearing in 16 episodes, which significantly increased her net worth. Two years later, her career reached a new high, when she was chosen for the role of Luli Zeng in the TV drama series “The Blacklist” (2013-2014), further increasing her net worth, and since then has made several notable appearances, including in the crime thriller film “Kiss Me, Kill Me (2015), with Van Hansis, Gale Harold and Brianna Brown in the lead roles, and several one-time appearances, before started to work on several films, including “Prince Harming”, scheduled for release late in 2018.

When it comes to her personal life, aside from acting, Deborah is also a licensed yoga coach and also known how to play piano, and an avid ping pong player. Unfortunately, there is no information in regards to her marital status, and number of children, if any.
