Hall is a three-time Pro Bowl player, and jointly holds the record for the most interceptions in a game. His career started in 2004.

Have you ever wondered how rich DeAngelo Hall is, as of mid-2016? According to authoritative sources, it has been estimated that Hall’s net worth is as high as $20 million, earned through his successful pro football career. Hall’s annual salary is apparently $3 million.

DeAngelo Hall grew up in Virginia where he went to Deep Creek High School in Chesapeake, and played football, basketball, and track and field. Hall played football both as a running back and cornerback, while also contributing on special teams. DeAngelo was named to the all-district team, as the Tidewater Player of the Year, the Norfolk Sports Club Player of the Year, and was ranked the No. 2 player in Virginia.

Hall studied at Virginia Tech, and during three years playing football there, recorded 190 tackles, 20 passes defended, eight intercepted passes, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and seven receptions for 86 yards with one touchdown. He also contributed on special teams with 56 punt returns for 839 yards and five touchdowns.

The Atlanta Falcons selected Hall as the 8th pick overall in the 2004 NFL Draft, immediately improving his net worth, and he recorded 35 tackles and two interceptions in his rookie season, becoming the youngest player who returned an intercepted pass for a touchdown (21 years, 44 days). In his second year in the NFL, Hall had 58 tackles, six interceptions, one forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries which were enough to earn him a Pro Bowl invitation. Hall appeared at the Pro Bowl again in 2006 season with 51 tackles, four interceptions for a touchdown, and a fumble recovery.

In March 2008, DeAngelo was traded to the Oakland Raiders, where he signed a new contract worth $70 million over seven years, including $24.5 million guaranteed, which increased his net worth to a large degree. However, he stayed with the Raiders for only eight games before he was released, but still managed to earn $8 million. He moved to the Washington Redskins the following November, signing a six-year, $55 million deal with $23 million in guaranteed money. The first two years with the Redskins weren’t particularly good, but in 2010, he exploded with 65 tackles, six interceptions for a touchdown, two forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries in 16 games; Hall made it to the Pro Bowl for the third time in his career.

The next three seasons were quite successful for DeAngelo, as he managed to record over 55 tackles in each of them, combined with 11 interceptions for two touchdowns in the process. In 2014, Hall played only three games before he tore his Achilles’ tendon, and missed the rest of the season. He returned in 2015, but his numbers drastically dropped comparing to the seasons before. In 2016, Hall tore his ACL in the Week 3 against the New York Giants and will be sidelined for the remainder of the year after being placed on the injured reserve list.
