Craig David was born on the 5th May 1981 in Southampton, Hampshire, England, of Afro-Grenadian(father) and Anglo-Jewish(mother) descent. He is a musician, singer, songwriter who rose to fame in 1999 with the single “Re-Rewind” by Artful Dodger. He has worked with a variety of artists such as Sting, Tinchy Stryder, Rita Ora, Jay Sean as well as landing a solo career. Craig has been nominated for twelve BRIT Awards and twice received Grammy nominations, and has won two MTV Europe Music Awards and four MOBO Awards. Craig has been active in the entertainment industry since 1999.
