Have you ever wondered how rich Ciaran Hinds is, as of early 2018? According to authoritative sources, it has been estimated that Hinds’ net worth is as high as $2 million, an amount earned through his successful career as an actor, active since the mid- ‘70s.

One of five children born into a Catholic family, Ciaran trained in Irish dance in his early years, and after matriculating from Holy Family Primary School, he enrolled at St. Malachy’s College, however, he transferred to become a law student at Queen’s University, Belfast. However, this also didn’t last long, since he left QUB and enrolled at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. He finished his studies in 1975, during which time Ciaran featured in several plays, including “The Seagull”, “Hamp”, and in 1976 in “The Night of the Iguana”.

After that, Ciaran joined the Glasgow Citizens’ Theatre, where he spent a number of successful years, building a name for himself, appearing in a number of plays that increased his net worth. His professional debut was in the play “Cinderella” in 1976, and since then he had successful appearances in “Macbeth”, “Figaro”, “Loot”, “The Seagull”, and many others until the late ‘70s. He returned to the Glasgow Citizens Theatre in the early ‘80s and with appearances in “Don Juan”, “Madame Louise”, “Red Roses for Me” and “The Merchant of Venice”, only confirmed his talents, and also increased his net worth. Since the ‘90s, Ciaran has extensively worked with Royal Shakespeare Company, playing Richard III in the play of the same name, then Roger Mortimer in “Edward II”, and Achilles in “Troilus and Cressida”, among other appearances. He has remained true to the stage throughout his career until the present day, most recently portraying Claudius in the play “Hamlet”, and Deputy Governor Danforth in the play “The Crucible”.

When it comes to his on-screen career, Ciaran has appeared in more than 100 film and television titles, since his debut in the television film “The Long March” in 1980. The following year, Ciaran portrayed Lot in the film “Excalibur”, and later appeared in the crime-drama film “The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover”, starring Helen Mirren, Richard Bohringer and Michael Gambon. He started the new millennium with the lead role in the mystery drama film “The Weight of Water”, while in 2002 he featured in the Academy Award-winning crime-drama thriller “Road to Perdition”, starring Tom Hanks, Tyler Hoechlin and Rob Maxey, which increased his net worth to a large degree, since the film grossed over $100 million at the box office. He enjoyed success throughout the 2000s, making some of his most memorable appearances, including the portrayal of Firmin in the film “Phantom of the Opera” in 2004, then as Carl in the Academy Award-nominated thriller drama “Munich” in 2005, portraying Gaius Julius Caesar in the TV series “Rome” (2005-2007), and as Fletcher in the eponymous drama film “There Will Be Blood”, starring with Daniel Day-Lewis and Paul Dano, among other successful projects that increased his net worth.
