Bronson Arroyo was born on 24 February 1977, in Key West, Florida to a family of Cuban ancestry. He is best known as a Major League Baseball (MLB) player, particularly with the Cincinnati Reds.

Arroyo moved from Key West to Brooksville, Florida, where he attended Hernando High School. His career began when he was selected by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the MLB 1995 Draft, and eventually made his debut for the team in 2000. During his first season, Bronson’s score was 2-6 in a total of 20 games he played, and in the following season five wins and seven losses with his ERA score of 5.09. In 2003, he was traded into the Boston Red Sox and he stayed there for three seasons; in his final season for the Red Sox in 2005, Arroyo had 35 pitching appearances and a score of 14-10, and gave up only five stolen bases. As of the same year, he released a cover album entitled ‘’Covering the Bases’’. Prior to the beginning of 2006 season, he signed a three-year deal worth $11.25 million with the Red Sox, however, in 2006 Bronson was traded to the Cincinnati Reds, and had a result of 14-10 by the end of the season, being rewarded with the Most Valuable Player award for his efforts. In 2007, he signed a contract extension with the team, and ended the following season with 4.23 ERA and 9-15 wins to losses. In 2008, he pitched 200 innings and achieved a 4.77 ERA – in a game against the Toronto Blue Jays, he gave up 11 earned runs. In the following year, Bronson was diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome and missed several games due to his health condition, but returned to the team for the second half of 2009 season, and finished off the season with an ERA of 3.84 and a score of 15-13. In 2010, he was chosen to be the number two starter in his team’s playoff series. In 2011, he signed a contract extension worth $35 million, and was supposed to remain on the team for another three years. In the same year, he was diagnosed with mononucleosis and wasn’t able to play until he was fully recovered, so finished the season with a 5.07 ERA.
Bronson boosted his net worth by signing a two-year contract to join the Arizona Diamondbacks, with $23.5 million guaranteed. However, in June of the same year, he was put on the disabled list as the result of suffering an elbow injury, and surgery meant a missed season. In June 2015, he was traded to the Atlanta Braves and then the Los Angeles Dodgers, as a part of the three-team deal. However, as of 2015, he became a free agent, and in 2016 he signed a contract with the Washington Nationals, however, due to the elbow pain, he pitched only nine innings and was released in October of 2016. In 2017, he joined the Cincinnati Reds for the second time. His elbow soreness was relieved due to the use of stem-cell injections.
