Born William Cruickshanks on the 24th October 1943/ in Angus, Scotland, he is a professional wrestler best known to the world as Bill Dundee. His career started in the early ‘60s.

Although born in Scotland, Bill and his family moved to Melbourne, Australia where he grew up. The two started wrestling in the Memphis Territory wining the AWA World Tag Team two times. Also, Bill wrestled on his own, winning the Southern Heavyweight Championship nine times, from 1975 to 1985. Furthermore, he won the AWA Southern Tag Team Championships 14 times with several different wrestlers, including Robert Gibson, Jerry Lawler, Tommy Rich, Dream Machine, Dutch Mantel and Norvell Austin, among others.

Over the years, Bill wrestled in Ohio Valley and won the OVW Heavyweight Championship one time, then in Power Pro Wrestling he won the Tag Team Championship with Lawler, and in US Wrestling Association, winning the Heavyweight Championship in several wrestling promotions, Southern Heavyweight, Junior Heavyweight, and Unified World Heavyweight Championship. All this success increased Bill’s net worth to a large degree.

Although he is in his eighth decade, Bill is still active in wrestling, though only as a manager and promoter.

Thanks to his popularity in Memphis, he is a frequent guest on radio stations, such as WNWS, and on TV channels across West Tennessee.
