How much is the net worth of Deion Branch? It has been estimated by authoritative sources that the outright size of his wealth is as much as $15 million, as of the data presented in early 2017. NFL is the major source of Branch’s fortune.
To begin with, the boy was raised in Albany and educated at Monroe Comprehensive High School. Branch played for Jones County Junior College, and then for the team of the University of Louisville, winning the Conference USA Football Championship in 2000 and 2001, plus the Liberty Bowl in the latter season, and was named to the first-team All-Conference USA in both years.
Concerning his professional career, he was selected in the second round, 65th by the New England Patriots in the NFL Draft 2002, apparently so low down because of his stature. From 2002 to 2006, he played with the New England Patriots, Branch’s most successful year was 2005, when he caught 78 passes and had five touchdowns. In the middle of 2006, the New England Patriots tried to extend his contract prematurely until 2009, but negotiations failed, so in the middle of 2006 he was able to negotiate with other teams. This way Branch moved to the Seattle Seahawks in 2006.
The same year Branch managed to make 61 receptions for 725 yards and 4 touchdowns. The player missed 12 games because of foot sprain and strained calf injuries in 2007 as well as 8 games because of other injuries in 2008. In 2009, Branch statistics was only 45 receptions for 437 yards and 2 touchdowns, so in the autumn of 2010, the Seahawks traded Branch back to the Patriots.
Branch played in 11 games in 2010, and had 48 receptions for 706 yards and five touchdowns. In 2012, he was released and re-signed several times by the Patriots, but received no new contract for the 2013 season. At the beginning of 2014, the player had a contract with the Indianapolis Colts, yet he was released, and didn’t play again.
At the beginning of 2016, Deion was ranked 30th in the list of 50 Greatest Super Bowl Players of all time. Overall, all the above mentioned contracts have added huge sums to the total size of Deion Branch’s net worth.
Finally, in the personal life of former professional football player, Branch is married to Shola, but gives little else away about his private life and rarely gives interviews.
