Anna Wintour was born on 3 November 1949, in Hampstead, London, England, and is a journalist as well as a magazine editor. To the public, Anna Wintour is perhaps best known as the editor-in-chief of the popular internationally recognized fashion magazine called “Vogue”.

Anna Wintour  attended North London Collegiate School. Wintour’s interest in fashion was heightened by “Ready Steady Go!”, a television program hosted by Kathy McGowan, as well as various fashion magazines she received from her grandmother, who at the time lived in the United States. Wintour’s professional career started with “Harper’s & Queen”, a fashion magazine where she worked as an editorial assistant.
