Alex Vincent Wiki Biography
Alexander Vincent LoScialpo was born on 29 April 1981, in Wayne, New Jersey USA, and is an actor, best known for his role of Andy Barclay in the “Child’s Play” franchise.
So just how rich is Alex Vincent now? Sources state that Vincent has collected a wealth over $400,000, as of mid-2017, accumulated through his involvement in the entertainment industry which began as a child actor in the late 1980s.
Vincent grew up in New Jersey, living first in Newark and then in Maywood, along with his two siblings. He attended Hackensack High School, graduating in 1999, and later enrolled at Full Sail University in Orange County, Florida, to study sound engineering and audio post-production. He obtained his Associate’s Degree in Recording Arts in 2009.
His acting career started at an early age, being cast in the 1988 supernatural slasher film “Child’s Play”, the first movie in the popular franchise and the first to feature the famed character Chucky. The film turned into a five-sequel franchise gaining cult following. Vincent was only five years old when the initial filming took place, in the lead part of Andy Barclay, a boy framed for Chucky’s crimes. The role shot him to fame. The film achieved an astonishing success, grossing over $44 million against a production budget of $9 million. Thus, aside from making him a star, it significantly added to Vincent’s net worth.
Embracing the new won fame, the young actor began to land roles in films such as the 1989 “Wait Until Spring, Bandini” and the 1990 “Just Like in the Movies”, reinforcing his popularity and further improving his wealth.
He then reprized his role of Barclay in the 1990 sequel, “Child’s Play 2”, cementing his reputation in the acting world, and increasing his net worth once again, as the second installment was also a great box-office success, grossing over $28 million in the US. He also appeared in “Child’s Play 3” in the following year, although in an uncredited part as younger Barclay.
In 1993 Vincent played Jeff Danieloff in the adventure comedy film “My Family Treasure”, but although his popularity and his fortune also increased, the young actor then stepped away from his acting career and moved to Florida to focus on his education in music, enrolling at the Full Sail University.
He returned to the acting world in 2008, appearing in the horror film “Dead Country”. Other acting opportunities followed and he made appearances in films such as the 2011 comedy “On the Ropes” and the 2013 horror thriler “House Guest”. All added to his net worth.
Vincent reprized his role as Barclay, making a cameo appearance in the sixth installment of the “Child’s Play” series, the 2013 “Curse of Chucky”.
Most recently, he has appeared in the 2017 films “The Dark Military”, and has been involved in other 2017 projects such as “The N00bs”, “Scavenger” and “Descending”, as well as the upcoming seventh installment of the “Child’s Play” franchise, the 2017 “Cult of Chucky”.
Aside from his acting career, Vincent has his own production and recording studio in Clearwater, Florida, which has served as another source of his net worth. He also plays the keyboard and is the lead singer of his band called Perception.
When it comes to his personal life, Vincent is very secretive about it, but is believed to be still single..
