Dacre Montgomery Wiki Biography

Dacre Montgomery was born on 22 November 1994, in Perth, Western Australia, but is also of Canadian as well as New Zealander descent. He is an actor, best known for playing Jason Scott the Red Ranger in the 2017 reboot of “Power Rangers”, and was also cast in the second season of the Netflix series “Stranger Things” in which he played Billy Hargrove, but all of his efforts have helped put his net worth to where it is today.

How rich is Dacre Montgomery? As of late-2017, sources estimate a net worth that is over $1 million, mostly earned through a successful career in acting. As he continues his career, it is expected that his wealth will also continue to increase.

Dacre’s parents both worked in the film industry in Australia. At the age of nine, he started acting too, performing in theater and on screen. He was educated at Mount Lawley Senior High School, and pursued dramatic arts studies, matriculating in 2011. He then attended the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, and did theatre work there.

Montgomery made his film debut in the short film entitled “Bertrand the Terrible”, released in 2010. The following year, he became a part of the television pilot of “Family Tree”, then more opportunities to increase his net worth would follow thanks to this exposure. In 2015, he appeared in the music video of the band Make Them Suffer in their song entitled “Old Souls”, and then also in the music video “Chateau” by Angus & Julia Stone. He would find his big break in the feature film reboot of “Power Rangers”, in which he was cast as the leader of the Power Rangers – Jason, the Red Ranger. The film features the characters of the “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” television series, and is the first blockbuster film to showcase LGBTQ as well as autistic super heroes. The film received mixed reviews, and disappointed in the box office, b ut still contributed to Dacre’s net worth.

Regardless, more opportunities opened up for Dacre, and he then joined the cast of the second season of the Netflix series “Stranger Things”, playing the older brother of the character Max.

The series found critical acclaim after the first season, winning numerous awards for various aspects of the show, and in particular, it has been praised for its homages to 1980s films, and so the series is set to continue into fourth or fifth seasons. Dacre is also set to star in the sequel of the comedy “A Few Best Men”, entitled “A Few Less Men”. In 2017, he has stated his desire to portray the DC Comics superhero Nightwing / Dick Grayson – something to be anticipated.

For his personal life, not much is known about any of Montgomery’s romantic relationships, but he is still single. He was chosen by his class as “Most likely to become a Hollywood celebrity” for their school’s year book. According to interviews, he admires actors such as Hugh Jackman and Heath Ledger. He also mentioned that he understood a lot about the industry thanks to his parents.
