Alec Matthew Sulkin Wiki Biography

Alec Sulkin was born on 14 February 1973, in the United States of America, and is a writer and producer, best known for producing the animated series “Family Guy” from creator Seth MacFarlane. He also contributed to another MacFarlane series – “The Cleveland Show”, but all of his efforts have helped put his net worth to where it is today.

How rich is Alec Sulkin? As of mid-2017, sources inform us of a net worth that is at $6 million, mostly earned through success on television. He’s helped produced many episodes, and also did writing as well as voice work for “Family Guy”. He’s also written scripts for several MacFarlane films, and as he continues his career it is expected that his wealth will also continue to increase.

Alec started his career in writing for “The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn”, following a recommendation from Wellesley Wild. He stayed with the show for the first three years before joining “Family Guy” in 2005, and he’s since become a producer as well as a voice actor for the hit animated show, plus helping to produce the show’s hour long “Star Wars” homage. Other episodes he has worked on include “Family Guy Viewer Mail #2”, “Stu and Stewie’s Excellent Adventure” and “Chick Cancer”. Thanks to his work in “Family Guy”, his net worth increased significantly, and the show has received favorable ratings and high sales since its inception in 1999.

In 2010, Sulkin signed a three year contract with 20th Century Fox TV alongside Wellesley Wild, and the two continued to work on “Family Guy” while developing their own show. Eventually, they went for a live action comedy rather than an animation, and three years later, they created the sitcom entitled “Dads” which had MacFarlane as executive producer. However, the series was short lived, cancelled after one season. While working on “Dads”, Alec also worked on the comedy film “Ted” which went on to receive good reviews. The film is Seth MacFarlane’s feature film directorial debut and stars Mark Wahlberg as well as Mina Kunis. The film tells the story of John Bennett and his teddy bear friend Ted who comes to life, staying with him through adulthood.

Alec also became part of the “85th Academy Awards” as a special material writer to help MacFarlane with his hosting duties. He was joined by other “Family Guy” writers.

In 2014, Alec then helped write the script for the MacFarlane film “A Million Days to Die in the West”; the western comedy film features an ensemble cast that includes Charlize Theron, Amanda Seyfried, Liam Neeson and Neil Patrick Harris.

For his personal life, it is known that Sulkin is still single, but has had relationships most recently with Sarah Silverman (2010 – 2011) and previously Deirdre Shaw (2003). He is known to have a very large following on Twitter, numbering around 619,000 followers on the social media website, which he updates regularly with jokes. In 2011, he created controversy on the site making a joke about the deadly 2011 Tohoku earthquake, which he eventually deleted with apologies.
