A native of Lancaster, Brad went to Manheim Township High School in Neffsville, Pennsylvania. During his high school years he slowly started implementing quiz skills, and joined the quiz bowl team. He became one of the 19 people to be inducted into the National Academic Championship Hall of Fame. After dropping out of college, Brad started working at a Coconuts record store located in his hometown and then in 2000 made his first appearance in “Jeopardy!”. In his first stint, Brad won $55,102, and two Chevrolet cars, since he was a five-day undefeated champion. In the following years, Brad was invited to the Tournament of Champions thanks to his previous success and he came out as a winner, taking home the main prize of $100,000. He returned to “Jeopardy!” in 2002 for the Million Dollar Masters Tournament, won again, and with the prize of $1 million, Brad became the all-time money winner in the popular quiz.
