Jay Thomas was born as Jon Thomas Terrell on the 12th July 1948, in Kermit, Texas USA, and is a Primetime Emmy Award-winning actor, comedian, and radio host, perhaps best known for his roles in such TV series as “Mork & Mindy” (1979-1981), “Cheers” (1987-1989), “Murphy Brown” (1989-1998), and “Love & War” (1992-1995). Thomas has also played in such movies as “Mr. Holland’s Opus” (1995), “Dragonfly” (2002), and “The Santa Clause 2” (2002). His career started in 1979.
