Mark Feuerstein Wiki Biography

Mark Feuerstein was born on 8 June 1971, in New York City, USA of Jewish descent, and is an actor, probably best known for being part of the television series “Royal Pains” as the main character Dr. Henry “Hank” Lawson. He’s also had numerous film roles, and all of his endeavors have helped put his net worth to where it is today.

How rich is Mark Feuerstein? As of early-2017, sources estimate a net worth that is at $2.5 million, mostly earned through a successful career in acting. He’s been featured in several publications and has been a part of numerous television series too. As he continues his career, it is expected that his wealth will also increase.

During high school, Feuerstein competed as a wrestler, winning the state championship. He attended The Dalton School, and after matriculating would go to Princeton University. He graduated in 1993, and won a Fulbright scholarship, then deciding to become part of the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. He also attended the L’Ecole Phillipe Gaulier.

Mark first started appearing in off-Broadway plays. He got his breakthrough on television, appearing in the daytime series “Loving” as a recurring character, starting in the 1980s and is set in a fictional town in Pennsylvania. Thanks to this appearance he was given a few projects including “Caroline in the City” and “Fired Up”. He then went on to appear in “Practical Magic”, a romantic comedy film starring Sandra Bullock, and based on a novel of the same name. Thanks to that role, he was then cast in “What Women Want” starring Mel Gibson and Helen Hunt, then reunited with Sandra Bullock in the film “Two Weeks Notice” which also starred Hugh Grant; the film was a success at the box office despite mixed critical reception, but unfortunately Mark’s scenes were later deleted.

Other projects that Mark has appeared in include “Sex and the City”, “Ally McBeal”, “Rules of Engagement”, and “Law & Order”. Thanks to these numerous opportunities, his net worth began rising.

Since then, Feuerstein has starred in the television show “Royal Pains” as the lead role. The drama series started airing in 2009 and is based on concierge medicine practices of independent doctors; the show ended in 2016 with the final series only having eight episodes. He then appeared in the web series entitled “The Hustler”, which was showcased by Crackle. During the peak of the popularity of “Royal Pains”, Mark appeared in an episode of “WWE RAW” to promote the show, in a match alongside the Big Show, and won using a variant of Scotty 2 Hotty’s Worm. A few of his latest projects include “Prison Break”, “”Meadowland”, and “In Your Eyes”. His continued opportunities have helped in building his net worth.

For his personal life, it is known that Mark married writer Dana Klein in 2005. They have three children and reside in Los Angeles. He is also tagged with the nickname “sitcom kryptonite” and “murderer of a thousand sitcoms” due to how many of his sitcom projects ended up being unsuccessful.

Mark Feuerstein Quotes

  • (On “In Her Shoes”): “It’s not a chick flick. Guys should go see this movie because if anybody has a brother out there or is interested in their relationship with their family – or enjoys seeing Cameron Diaz in a bikini – this will appeal to you.”
  • Once you become an actor, it’s important to take care of yourself. I live in Santa Monica, where I can mountain bike, hike and go running on the beach. I like a nice sunset jog.
  • (On working with Penelope Cruz in “Woman On Top”): “I can’t say enough nice things about her. She is amazing. You would think, looking at her, “Well, she can’t be smart, funny, and a good actress,” but she is all these things and more. She’s great at imitations, dancing, partying. And she’s a great person, too. She doesn’t do it for show. One day when we were shooting in Pellerinho, a small town in Bahia, Brazil, we’re hanging out on a street corner and there’s this little boy who’s dirty, dressed in rags, who is begging. She takes him by the hand and walks him to a sandwich shop and buys him two roast beef sandwiches. There’s no one around, writing an article about her, this is just Penelope being herself.”
  • In high school, I was a total jock/extracurricular nerd/just plain nerd. When I got to college, I realized that building a resume to get into a good school was no longer necessary. I had already gotten into one. I might as well follow my bliss.
  • I just give off this kind of feminine vibe which has… served me so well with women in my life.
  • (On Ashley Williams’ character on “Good Morning, Miami): “Her’s is a combination of wisdom and innocence.”
  • (When People Magazine voted him one of the 50 Most Beautiful of 2003, they asked him what beauty products he uses): “The closest thing I use to beauty products is the grease on the pizza from John’s Pizzeria.”
