Angelyne Tompkins Wiki Biography
Born as Renee Goldberg in 1958 in Idaho, USA, Angelyne is an actress, singer and model, but probably best known for her self-promotion campaign herself via a large number of mononymous billboards during the mid-80s, which helped her to secure some movie roles..
Have you ever wondered how rich Angelyne is as of early 2017? According to authoritative sources, it has been estimated that Angelyne’s net worth is as high as $500,000, an amount earned through her successful acting career. In addition to being an actress, Angelyne also recorded three studio albums, which improved her wealth.
Angelyne actuallystarted her career in 1974as an extra in what turned out to be a porn film, which she declined to acknowledge. She then appeared in such movies as Brian De Palma’s Oscar Award-nominated “Phantom of the Paradise” (1974), and in James Avery’s “The Wild Party” (1975), while her first on-screen credit came in the comedy “Can I Do It ‘Till I Need Glasses?” (1977).
Also in 1977, Angelyne joined her boyfriend’s band called Baby Blue, and they performed in various clubs in Los Angeles, with the club named The Masque serving as their rehearsal place. They recorded the single entitled “Rock n’ Roll Rebel” with a b-side “Fantasy Man” but they made only 1000 copies which for some unknown reason were distributed in England. The band failed to get an attention, so they decided to post Angelyne’s picture on billboards across LA, which resulted in the release of a self-titled rock album in 1982 under Erika Records label, containing 11 songs, including singles such as “Kiss Me LA”, “Sexy Stranger”, and a cover of Elvis’ “Teddy Bear”. Erika Records released Angelyne’s single entitled “My List” including a music video in July 1983, and three years later, she recorded another studio album of eight songs – “Driven to Fantasy” – released under her own label, Pink Kitten.
In 1988, Angelyne appeared alongside Lawrence Monoson and Brenda Bakke in Marty Ollstein’s movie called “Dangerous Love”, and in Julien Temple’s “Earth Girls Are Easy” starring Geena Davis, Jeff Goldblum and Jim Carrey. She ended the ‘90s with roles in such movies as “Hardcase and Fist” (1989) with Ted Pryor and Vincent Barbi, and “Homer and Eddie” (1989) starring Jim Belushi and Whoopi Goldberg. In the ‘90s, Angelyne played in two films: “The Malibu Beach Vampires” (1991) and “Wild Horses” (1998), while in 1997, she launched her website, offering tours around Sunset Boulevard and Hollywood. Perhaps her net worth wasn’t doing too well…..
In 2000, Angelyne’s third studio album “Beauty & the Pink” came out under the label called Orbital Traxx, produced by Peter Stensland, Dan Kapelovitz, and John Galvin, including songs written by Angelyne: “Pink”, “Dust”, and “You Gotta Move”. Two years later, Angelyne was a candidate for Hollywood city council, while in 2003 she ran for governor of California, and finished 28th in a field of 135 candidates. Most recently, Angelyne has a contract with designer Michael Kuluva to appear as a face on limited edition t-shirts for his clothing line, Tumbler and Tipsy.
Regarding her personal life, Angelyne’s most intimate details such as marital status and any children are unknown, as she successfully manages to keep them private, out of the public eye. Although she has claimed that her parents died when she was very young, that statement is not confirmed.

- [on the color pink] I’ve always liked it, it just gravitates towards me. Magenta is the concentrated color of pink diluted with white, so I think it has a really powerful energy to it. I read that pink is the most powerful vibrating color in the universe. Magenta-pink, specifically.
- [on Corvettes] I got my first one in the mid-eighties. This is my ninth one, and I’m going to get my tenth next year. I buy them at Community Chevrolet in Burbank. I had a special paint made for me. It has a formula that is very hard to get because it uses a toner that they don’t make anymore

- I would love to leave a legacy that helps people tune into their highest power and find their calling. I believe that everybody has their own universe, their own planet. - I do the splits. The gym? Oh God, no-I’m glamorous!
- I’m a five and a half. It’s very hard for me to find shoes, so I have them all made. I have so many shoes, my God. I collect handbags as well.
