Raymond T. Dalio was born on the 1^st August 1949 in Jackson Heights, in the community of Queens, New York City, USA, of Italian and American ancestry. As Ray Dalio, he is best known for being the founder of the investment firm Bridgewater Associates, which is the main source of his wealth, and as such is being rated as one of the top 100 most influential people in the world. He has been active since 1961.
