Kaitlin Doubleday Wiki Biography
Kaitlin Janette Doubleday is an actress born on 19th July 1984 in Los Angeles, California, US. She is best known for her debut role in “Catch Me If You Can” (2002) and her roles in TV series’ “Hung” (2009-2011),”Cavemen”(2007), “Witches Of East End”(2013) and others.
Have you ever wondered how rich Kaitlin Doubleday is? According to sources it has been estimated that Kaitlin Doubleday’s overall net worth is $1.5 million. Doubleday acquired this wealth mainly thanks to her acting talent and continual appearances in numerous TV series. On the other hand, Kaitlin has also had quite a few film roles which also added to her total net worth, which continues to grow.
Kaitlin was born as Jan Kaitlin Len Doubleday to parents who are both involved in show business. This had a major influence on her, and her later born sister Portia’s career path as they both joined the entertainment industry and eventually became actresses. The sister’s are currently both members of the Screen Actors Guild and their mother is a theater playwright and a producer. This favorable family background led to Kaitlin’s debut role in 2002 when she appeared in an episode of “Without a Trace”, a CBS TV drama series. However, her true breakthrough happened the same year when she was cast as Joanna in the Oscar nominated movie “Catch Me If You Can” appearing side-by-side with Leonardo DiCaprio. This gave a definite boost to her net worth.
Then followed supporting roles in movies “Waiting” (2005), “The TV Set” (2006) and “Accepted” (2006). In year 2007 she was cast in the lead female role in “Cavemen”, an ABC American sitcom which unfortunately aired for only one month, having received negative reviews. However, this didn’t represent much of a setback for Doubleday as she continued appearing in numerous other, successful, TV series during the following years, such as “Bones”, “CSI: Miami”, “Criminal Minds”, “Drop Dead Diva”, “Witches Of East End” and others like “Royal Pains”, “Go On!” and “The Glades”. In 2011 she started appearing as Logan in an HBO comedy-drama series “Hung”. This was a challenging role for Kaitlin as it included nudity scenes, but the actress was self-assured and decided to go for it. Luckily, it turned out that she was perfect for the role, and she became a part of the regular cast. Some of Doubleday’s latest acting activity includes her role of Rhonda Lyon, in the Fox TV musical drama series “Empire” (2015). Apart from this, she was cast in the independent drama movie “Po”, portraying a single father’s struggles in nurturing an autistic son.
When it comes to Kaitlin’s private life, in early 2015 she became engaged to Devin Lucien. Although she has an active life on social media and many followers on Facebook and Instagram, there isn’t much other information about her life away from the film set.
