Zachry Alexander “Zac” Brown was born on 31st August 1978, in Atlanta, Georgia USA. He is a singer and a guitarist who became famous as the lead singer of the country group called “Zac Brown Band”. His first song that became a national hit was “Chicken Fried”.

The singer has made most of his money in the music industry, from album sales and from touring and performing with his band. Zac Brown was one of 12 children, and received his first guitar when he was eight years old, and although he soon started taking classes to study classic guitar, he also became interested in Bluegrass, playing with his stepfather and brother. The band has been performing in the actual formula since 2004, with Zac Brown as leading singer and John Hopkins (bassist), Jimmy de Martini (fiddler), Matt Mangano (bass guitar), Coy Bowles (organ, guitar), Chris Fryar (drummer), Clay Cook (guitar, keyboards), and Daniel de los Reyes (percussion), and self-produced their first album “Far From Einstyne”, released in 2004, and soon after their first single, “Chicken Fried” made them known all over the country. The first album sold more than 30,000 copies, contributing to their net worth.
The “Zac Brown Band” signed a contract with Atlantic Records and, in 2008, they released another album called “The Foundation”, which helped them receive their first Grammy, for Best New Artist. In 2012, the band released the album “Uncaged”, which brought them a second Grammy, for Best Country Album. Thanks to this album, Billboard ranked the “Zac Brown Band” number 28 on the list of the highest earning music acts of the year. The band has been performing in numerous shows and has constantly been touring around the US; recently between May and November 2015, the band has toured in the “Jekyll + Hyde Tour”.
In total, Zac Brown and his band have released five studio albums, which have sold over seven million copies, and they have performed more than 3,000 shows. The “Zac Brown Band” discography also includes two extended plays, one greatest hits album, and two live albums. Forbes has included the “Zac Brown Band” on the top of the highest paid country music artists, thanks to their performances in 2013 and 2014. According to Forbes, in these two years alone Zac Brown and his band made $6.6 million, $2.4 million coming from album sales and the rest from concerts. These earnings have contributed significantly to Zac Brown’s net worth.
In his personal life, Zac Brown is married to Shelly and they have four girls and a boy. The couple succeeds in remaining outside the spotlight, being very discreet about their private lives. They live in Georgia, in a $1.85 million home, which the singer bought in 2010.
