According to sources it has been estimated that Yannick Bisson’s overall net worth is $5 million, as of July 2017, accumulated through a successful and extensive acting career, which started in the mid-‘80s. Since he is still very active in the entertainment industry, his net worth continues to grow.
Yannick was born into a family with both English and French ancestry. Although born in Montreal, he moved to Toronto as a teenager where he began acting while attending high school. As soon as he noticed his son’s interest in acting, Bisson’s father encouraged him to reply to a newspaper advertisement which was looking for “child actors”. After appearing in numerous TV commercials, his first major role was in “Hockey Night”, the CBC movie of the week in which he starred next to Megan Follows and Rick Moranis. He then went on to act in the Canadian TV series “Learning the Ropes” (1988-89), but gained international recognition during the ‘90s when he starred in “High Tide”, the syndicated action series with Rick Springfield.
