Willis Andrew McGahee, III was born on the 21st October 1981, in Miami, Florida USA, and is probably best recognized for being a former professional football player, who played in the National Football League (NFL)’s teams – the Buffalo Bills, Baltimore Ravens, Denver Broncos and Cleveland Browns. He is also known for having being a member of the National Pro Grid League (NPGL) for the Miami Surge.

Willis McGahee was born to Jannie Jones and Willis McGahee. He went to Miami Springs High School for three years, after which he transferred to Miami Central High School. Upon matriculation, he enrolled at the University of Miami, where he continued playing for the Miami Hurricanes football team under the coach Butch Davis (2000-2002). There he distinguished himself as a football player, so in the following year, he became a member of the 2001 University of Miami team, which won he Division I national championship in the same year. In his sophomore year, Willis was named a first-team All-American, and he was in the final for the Heisman Trophy. He finished his college career with 2,067 rushing yards, and 31 touchdowns, meantime managing to graduate with a major in Criminology.
