Vickie Guerrero Wiki Biography
Vickie Guerrero was born on the 16th April 1968, in El Paso, Texas USA, and is a professional wrestling authority figure, best known as a manager of wrestlers and occasional wrestler herself. Vickie is famous for her catchphrase “Excuse me!”. and as being the widow of the late pro wrestler Eddie Guerrero. Vickie’s career in wrestling started in 2005.
Have you ever wondered how rich Vickie Guerrero is, as of mid- 2016? According to authoritative sources, it has been estimated that Vickie Guerrero’s net worth is as high as $8 million, earned largely through her successful career in WWE. In addition to being involved in professional wrestling, Vickie also inherited a lot of money from her late husband Eddie.
Vickie Guerrero studied at Herzing University, but didn’t start her WWE career until 2005 when she appeared with her spouse Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio. She was involved in the storyline concerning Eddie, and revealing his secret about Mysterio’s son. However, Vickie’s husband Eddie died due to heart failure in November 2005, so she continued on, appearing more frequently in similar controversial storylines.
In 2006, she acted as a peacemaker between two former friends and now enemies, Chavo Guerrero Sr. and Mysterio. She helped Chavo defeat his rival, hitting Mysterio in the back with a chair during their confrontation. In December 2007, the WWE United States Championship battle between Chavo and Chris Benoit took place, but Chavo failed to beat the reigning champion despite interference from Vickie. Also in 2007, Vickie got a job as Theodore Long’s personal assistant, and after he had suffered a heart attack, Vickie became the new general manager of WWE. Her net worth was rising.
With her nephew Chavo, Vickie formed the new team called “La Familia” in 2008, adding Curt Hawkins, Zack Ryder, and Bam Neely. Soon after, the group helped Chavo in winning the ECW Championship, and later Vickie interfered in a World Heavyweight Championship match between Edge and Rey Mysterio, helping Edge claiming the title, which he lost to The Undertaker four months after.
In February 2009, Vickie was appointed as the interim General Manager of Raw, but she didn’t stay in the position for long. On the show, Edge requested a divorce from Vickie, stating that he only married her to help him in his attempts to win the World Championship and that she was useless after resigning from her position. A few month later, Vickie took over management of the LayCool Team and participated in a 5-on-1 handicap match with her teammates Alicia Fox and Maryse Ouellet against Beth Phoenix. After her team evidently weakened Phoenix, Vickie struck the final blow and secured a win for LayCool.
In June 2010, Vickie started a romance storyline with Dolph Ziggler, accompanying him in the ring in almost every fight, and in 2011, she became the General Manager of SmackDown. Vickie stayed in the WWE for the next few years before decided to retire in 2014 to launch a career in medical administration. However, she returned to the ring in July 2016 but was escorted out of the arena after claiming she wanted to become the new GM of the WWE Brand Extension.
Regarding her personal life, Vickie Guerrero married Eddie Guerrero in 1990 after three years of dating, and stayed with him until his death in 2005, when his nephew Chavo found Eddie unresponsive in a Minneapolis hotel room. Vickie has two daughters with Guerrero. Vicki and Kris Benson announced their engagement in June 2015, and they married the following September.
