Valerie Bertinelli Wiki Biography
Valerie Anne Bertinelli was born on 23 April 1960, in Willmington Delaware, USA of Italian and English descent. Valerie is an actress, best known for her roles in the TV series’ “One Day at a Time”, “Hot in Cleveland” and “Touched by an Angel”, but is also a writer.
So how rich is Valerie Bertinelli? It has been been estimated by sources that Bertinelli’s net worth is $20 million, mostly from her acting roles, but also from her writing.
Valerie Bertinelli and her family moved first to Shrevepor, Louisiana when her father Andrew was transferred to manage the General Motors plant there. The eventually moved to Los Angeles, California, where Valerie attended Granada Hills High School until 1978 but did not graduate, and in fact did not do so until 2008.
Valerie studied acting at the Tami Lynn School of Artists, and her career as an actress started in 1975 when she secured a role in “One Day at a Time”, in which she had an opportunity to work with Bonnie Franklin, Richard Masur, Mackenzie Phillips, Pat Harrington Jr. and others, which made Valerie popular and noticed, and also gained her a lot of experience. Valerie then appeared in more shows and movies. “Battle of the Network Stars III”, “Young Love”, “First Love”, “Family Feud”, “The Princess and the Cabbie”, “I was a Mail Order Bride”, “The Seduction of Gina”, “Faerie Tale Theatre: Aladdin and His Wonderful Lamp”, “Number One with a Bullet” are only a few of the movies and shows that Valerie has appeared in, and which of course had a huge impact on the growth of Valerie Bertinelli’s net worth. Valerie’s latest appearances include “Hollywood Game Night”, “Hot in Cleveland”, “Iron Chef America” and “Signed, Sealed, Delivered”. During her career as an actress Valerie Bertinelli has won two Golden Globe Awards, and has a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
As mentioned before, in addition to her career as an actress, Valerie Bertinelli has also written two autobiographical books, called “Losing It: And Gaining My Life Back One Pound at a Time”, and “Finding It: And Satisfying My Hunger for Life without Opening the Fridge”, which have also added to Valerie’s net worth. In her books, Valerie she talks about her career as an actress, and other experiences she has had in life. Both books gained success and added to Valerie Bertinelli’s net worth. What is more, and perhaps unsuprisingly given the book titles, Valerie was part of a weight loss program by Jenny Craig and appeared in commercials for this program, which also contributed to Valerie’s net worth.
In her private life, Valerie Bertinelli first married Eddie Van Halen; they had a son in 1991 before finally divorcing in 2007. In 2011 Bertinelli married again, to Tom Vitale.
Although 54 already, Valerie Bertinelli is still very famous and acclaimed, so there is a high possibility that Valerie will appear in more movies in the future. Let’s hope that Valerie’s fans will be able to see her often in the future, and that her net worth will grow further.
